Heading home tonight and I'm pretty excited- roadddddddd trip... plus 2 day work week isn't too shabby either. If I'm a little MIA from GITM for the next few days it's because while all of you suckers are at work/ school, I'm lazing around at home! Suckerrrrrrrrrs

gLee Tonight!!!

gLee is on tonight aaaand it's my b day- could this day get any better? Tonight is the Madonna Episode and I am soooooooooooo pumped. It won't be the same watching it without Charlie though. It is for that reason I have posted a photo of us. I am on the R, Char on the L! Don't we look sooo pretty? Everyone at work sends these little forwards multiple times a day. Usually I delete them without an afterthought... today however THIS shows up. For those of you who are unaware, I hate Twilight as I have a fear of Vampires (yes I know they aren't real... but they're effing scary!) One thing I love is Mr. Bean. The forward today was Beanie photoshopped into a bunch of pics. This obvi was my fav!!! He is just having so much fun riding that vampire!

G'afternoon!

Manic Monday eh? But to be fair the weekend was amahhhzin'! First off- my birthday party was a success! I think I succeeded in staying out of the planning of it- although it was an anxiety producing experience- I did it! lol So many good friends came from all over to hang out! Lor (the ginger) brought her vidicam.... I'm not sure how I feel about it. I love watching videos of other people, but when I watch myself playing MTV cribs the morning after... I may need to reconsider my love. The girl's Christmas party has some horribly embarassing footage, but thankfully nothing like that happened this weekend.

Chel made an amazinnnn cake! Mint choc ice cream, fudge, choc ice cream, fudge, oreos- COULD it posssssssssibly be any more deeeelish? She was pulling off the housewife persona quite well... until she cut through the silicon cake pan- "what a waste of $10" followed by Lor (the ginger) saying "epic hosusewife fail". I love it!

Parcour on the subway, Aero walking home, and seeing 15 people passed out in the living room- HA good times with great amigos!

Yesterday, Dave and I got some breafast with Ann and Adam- delish. Then we went out for Thai for dinner. Obvs I ate waaaaay too much but hey it's 2 days before my birthday. I'm going to try and not use the "hey it's 1 day before my birthday" as an excuse to not work out tonight. We'll see how well that goes over.

Short work week, then home- ayiiii! 5 K this weekend- it's looking good!

I was talking about this video on the weekend. It's soooo good!He is VERY cute and VERY bad ass... don't mess with him. He is 5 and he is a child star. As a former child star I understand the pressure associated with this level of popularity. Fortunatley, my decision to leave the limelight when I did kept me away from a life of sex, drugs and alcohol. My CHOICE to live a quaint, quiet life, has treated me well. If Josh needs some advice or just a shoulder to lean on I'd be glad to give it, he's a star (just like meeeee)!!! Keep it up brotha- you're doing great.

Poor Taylor

Aw my girl T. Swift lost badly last night at the ACA's... and I'm so sad. Carrie Underwood gives her a good run for her money but I was really surprised to see Miranda Lambert win over those two. Ah you may be wondering why I care so much about country music- and in short I hate Much and MTV so I watch CMT- the only station that plays music. I love it! Every time you turn on that it's MUSIC or a show about MUSIC not some slimy little buff kids hanging out in sleezeville or someone trying to become famous. I hate MTV shows... I think I am the only person in the world who does. Now to give you MTV lovers some credit they have GREAT viral vids. You can watch the shows anytime. I watched J.S to see what the fuss was about... but I can't believe ppl make $$ off this shit. Teen mom- this one is ok.. it's SO trash TV but I love it BENTLAAAAAAAY... that's for the ginger.

Everyone I have ever lived with is ob-sesssssssed with MTV- Charlie is no exception (she watches them ALL) and Mar- you're the worst! But still... I manage to love them all the same. I think deep down it stems from my insecurities with my hip side. I need to be more hip but I'm just not with it... SO country it is. Poor Taylor... I love you guuuuuuurl!

2010 Juno Beef

Ok so I've got some beef with the Junos. I'm all for Canadian music- love it, BUT commonnnn! Juno Beefs:

1. Would someone other Michael Bubble PLEASE hire a stylist? I do not consider myself a super fashionista but I could have dressed those Junettes and Junors better than THAT. Sweet Jesus... just horrid. The women outside were wearing soccer mom outfits from 1997.. they may have been the worse.

2. Can you PLEASE show more than 5 awards. I get that they have limited time, but they skimped on all the wrong places. Show more awards pls. Also, when they were announcing the nominees it was like it was on freekin' fast forward... slow it down baybee.

3. Please check your sound equipment BEFORE the show. You couldn't hear ANYTHING it was awful. No one is buying any music after those performances.

The things I loved were Bubble obvs, and how Drake dominated Beiby. Drake is better and hotter and just the best- he was so cute with the little Beiby all night... he even picked him up. You think this is just cute.... but it's Drake dominating everyone and everything that gets in his path. Arrivederci Beiby... maybe next year

Sup Babies!

First off... IT'S FRIDAY!!!! Ahhh it's the greatest day of the working week! Sorry for the lack of posts yesterday, BUT I've decided to make it up by starting this morning at 9, which means I'll have plenty of time to blog all day!

Some of my lovlies and I are running a 5K next weekend and I should have gone for a run last night... instead I ordered Thai with Charlie, watched Survivor (more on that later), and painted my nails- twice lol! Oh well, we'll see if it happens tonight.

I'm so excited for this weekend! My bests are planning a party for meeeeeee! I'm so excited to see my girls, I miss them too much! I also miss my wine... I'm almost as excited to be reunited with a large glass as I am to see my friends. We're going out dancing at a bar that Hair got kicked out of last time. Although this was way back in her "wild single girl" days, I am going to commit to having her kicked out again... this is going to take a lot of wine and a lot of coaxing her on to the table top. She really is filthy deep down... the girl next door persona is just a front. You know how it is. Hopefully I will have a happy update for you on Monday.

It's going to be a GREAT weekend and I can not wait! Shopping tonight, party tomorrow, 300 Sunday- could it POSSIBLY be any better???

Hilarious Site

It seems people enjoy it when I post links to other sites. I'm trying to take this as a compliment, like "ohhh Ash you're so hip, you know all the rad sites" and not as "Ew this GITM site sucks, I like the other ones sooo much better". I'm going to think on the positive side... I'm the best!

Another site I love to go to is call Passive Aggressive Notes. It says it all in the title, this site is about crazy sarcastic notes people write/ recieve/ view. It is not updated NEARLY enough. Today is one from a child (the one I posted). It's sooo funny! Read back and they are just unreal! I also love the background stories that accompany each post! Enjoy!

Wedding Pictures

So I hear that wedding photos are expensive... and sometimes that cost is excessive, I agree. However if anyone ever suggested a baptism in my wedding dress.. I think I would draw the line. Wednesday I talked about strange pregnancy photos and obviously there are strange... perhaps even stranger wedding photos. This one was posted on AWF yesterday, but for some reason they took it down. I just don't get it. She looks dead. When I get married I am having normal pictures done, and although I love swimming, there will be no pools involved. I also found this site that has a bucket load of funny wedding pics. Check it out!

SNL in the 2000s

This was FANTASTIC! Char and I were laughing so hard! It's such an amazing show that has helped to develop so many actors careers. Fav parts? I loved the focus on 9/11 and how they got back to being funny- it was emotional, yet hilarious. I also loved the part about the women of SNL. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are AM-AZ-INNNNG! I love Baby Mama haha! Finally I looooved the background of Lonely Island. The fact that 3 roomies just started filming "digital shorts" one day and now they are some of the most recognizable funniest ppl in the world. Ay yi yi! They showed the first short they did which was about Laser Cats is so dumb yet HILARIOUS. I obvi also love their others (Lazy Sunday, Single Ladies, Dick in a Box, Jizz in My Pants, I'm on a Boat.. just so you have the links). And there there was the Will Ferrel doing Goulet, this reminds me SO much of high school- can't find a link, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about... ROBERRRRRRRRRT GOULEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTT

Survivor Update (spoiler alert)

This show just sucks you right in. Especially this season with the dumbosity. Here are some of my rants and raves.

• Firstly, Courtney needs to go home. Not only is she a poster child for anorexia she is HORRIBLE. She effing twisted her ankle in a mud pit. Is that even possible? Ew she is so skinny it's disgusting. Children watch this show. I wouldn't be surprised if they stepped in and were like "you are gross and you need to go home". All the other girls on that show are tiny too (as a result of the natural loss of muscle and fat from NORMAL sized bodies) and that makes Courtney even nastier. She looks anorexic in a pile of anorexics. ew.
• Secondly, how DUMB at the Heroes? Are you kidding me? They gave the idol away? To Russell? WTF?! Omg I can't even believe it. Dumbest move in the history of the game! It was hilarious watching them at the challenges trying to "support" Russel from his "man eating" tribe. Holy Cow (as Char would say), this is just unbelievable.
  
• And finally the Villians are smart for playing into this "Woman's Alliance" but my GOD Russell why the HELL would you tell them about your idol. I would have kept that shit locked down! They Vils are also idiots for voting off Boston Rob- he is amazing, Coach, and Tyson... are you kidding me?

All in all love the show, merge BETTER not happen... but I think it will next week. BOOO! I'm thinking my #1 is a 3 way tie between Rupcity, Jer and Candice (she's flying under the radar). Thoughts?

Helllooo Lovers,

I'm actually having quite a busy day at work today. I now have an ongoing project to work on and I've been flying around in the Kart all day. Not bad for a day that started off with some shitty burnt Timmie's coffee with NO Roll Up the FREEKING Rim. Highway robbery I tell you!

Speaking of Tim Horton's, last time I was home I had a debate with my Ginger friend Lor about Tim Horton's that are in gas stations. I think it's really strange to buy food at a gas station... there is just something wrong with that. Lor on the other hand couldn't get her head around my aversion to GasHortons. It's just one of those things I don't think should go together. Like one time we were driving up to the cottage and Dave wanted to buy bread at a convenience store rather than the grocery store, because it was slightly more convenient. Uh uh no effing way. It's just not right.

I know some of you may not agree, but I think we all have things that we think are weird and if you really try to emphasize with the other person you will see why they see it that way (which I realize goes both ways). Take Charlie and her belief that flossing should only happen in a bathroom, and if said bathroom is public you must take the floss into the stall. At first I thought it was weird, but now thinking about it... it's pretty effing nasty to think of plaque flying across the room at someone/ something.

Watched Criminal Minds last night in HD. I'm not sure how I feel about HDTV.... I love it for sports (which I watch a TONNE of... not) but with TV shows I just don't think I like it. It's too real... like oh the actors are just actors.... the jury is out on this one.

Bahhh it's Thursday, it looks like its going to rain, and my crappy GasHorton's is wearing off.... yet I am still kickin!

Ola,


Started off today with SC again... I'm so bad but it's sooo good! It's almost like days with coffee go by 3 times as fast. Usually I get to work around 8:30 and stare at my clock till 11:59 when I can legitimately take a break (never mind the fact my job is a break). Coffee days are like WOAH it's already 3?!


Posse dinner last night was GREAT! I've missed the posse and our crazy antics. You know when you have friends that you already feel drunk around and then you throw 3 liters of wine into the mix and it's just great fun? Well think of that on a Mexican themed night with a side of gLee (more on gLee later)! The result is barrel of monkeys! Which until right now I thought was spelled "monkies"... man that is crazy. My mind is blown. Monkeys will never be the same for me.




This morning I thought about cancelling this blog and not doing it, now I realize that my full blogging potential isn't present until after lunch on a full bellayyyy. So blog will be updated after the hour of noon every day (hopefully).


Gossip is flying wild today and I'm thriving, Happy Hump Day!
